Professional Background

As one of the firm’s Associates, Kendra works primarily in the area of civil litigation including insurance and condominium related disputes. Kendra approaches each file with a view to early resolution when possible and works to ensure clients are presented with efficient and innovative resolution options.

Kendra manages her own insurance and condominium files and assists others with larger litigation disputes. She also has successful trial experience in the Alberta Court of Justice. No matter what gets thrown her way, Kendra keeps her composure and focus.

Kendra completed two summer student rotations at SVR and articled with the firm before being called to the Alberta Bar in 2023. Prior to law school, Kendra completed a double major in psychology and sociology. She then worked in social services in Calgary where she faced daily challenges helping the city’s most vulnerable, including individuals and families experiencing homelessness and youth in care. Her move into law was a natural extension of her commitment to advocating for others.

Kendra has always been committed to volunteering. During law school she was active with Pro Bono Students Canada and contributed to the Indigenous Legal information Project with Calgary Legal Guidance. She was also a student editor with the Alberta Law Review. Growing up in rural Southern Alberta, Kendra played every sport on offer. She still keeps active and plays slo-pitch whenever she can.
